Cold -11C

Surprised myself.  Late afternoon , went for a run.  Ran approx . 4K. 
 Slowly getting my body used to running in the cold. 
Lots of ice on the sidewalks and roads.
Less than 4 weeks to Christmas.  . ... Lots to do. Write cards, and put up some lights, and a small tree. 

 Weather channel is forecasting  cold weather- minus Celsius for December.

Long Run

My longest run in 2or 3 years. Very happy . Did 10K.  i don't have an exact time, think it was 1:10 (approx. 70 min).  Temp was 2C.  Ran carefully as it had snowed early this morning and the roads and sidewalks are icey and wet.

4.3k run and looked at training watches.

 Rode my bike to the Cataraqui Shopping center. 
Had a look at Christmas cards and checked out  training watches. Polar, Suntoo, Garmin and Timex.  
They cost more than I thought.---range in price from  $130 to $600 plus tax. 
 But they do provide all kinds of useful training  information.    Plan is to think about it.
 Do i need one? . Do I want to spend the  money ? and will the information be helpful in my training?

 Did a slow run in the late afternoon - 4.3K.

Todays run 7.82K



Today , I ran 7.8K7.82 km in Kingston, Canada

 Happy as i am slowly increasing my distances. 
 Yesterday did a 5.8K run.

Have been using Map Your Runs to document my training. 
Which is great, as I am using the free version.  The 20 sec ads are a pain.  And seems I have lost some of the posts  I made.  Not too happy about this. 

Thinking I should check out getting a watch that keeps track of everything to do with my training. 
Brands that come to mind are Timex. Polar, Garmin and .... ??   and names  i have heard about. ,... Need to get some info on all the worthy brands, what they do and how much they cost. 

Planning to do Yoga on Sunday morning and hopefully a short run tomorrow afternoon.

Running Distance

Clocks have shifted back to Standard Time.  What a difference an hour makes. Its dark at 5:30PM .  And its a lot colder. 2C and dropping below zero at night . 
My aim is to run longer. try to up my training distance  . 

 Went to yoga on Sunday morning and have been riding my bike daily//


Did a 6K run in the late afternoon, getting home,  at sundown.  Happy with the distance .
