Cold -14C.  But no snow.  Cycling is still my mode of transportation to  get me around town.

Finally, i got a flu shot.  Toronto TV news is reporting that this year's vaccine is not as effective  as last year's vaccine.
But, it's better to have the vaccination, than not have it..

Spent time getting a few things for New Years Eve. Heineken Beer and Champagne. not the real stuff, but Freixenet Black Label  Cava. .

 Ran in the late afternoon. "Dusk".
 Cool  3C. but no winter as we usually have this time of year.
Started out with a slow pace and got stronger as I ran.
 I have goals for 2015.  will post them  in January..

December 26 - "Boxing Day "

The weather is uncanny for this time of year today was 44F.. I have biked every day since May 1. This has to be the longest Cycling season on record..  There were 5-6 days in November when it snowed. then came this unusual "heatwave' and the snow disappeared, 

  Late afternoon  i went for my run. 
I use a Garmin 10 and recently have been experiencing lots of problems downloading the run info to my Garmin account. Takes several tries to do it. I checked online posts and it  seems there many others experiencing the same issues.

Merry Christmas

Quiet day at home. I went for a walk in the late afternoon. Wearing my Santa hat as I type this post.  Christmas dinner is next.

Tis 5 PM my time. And it’s dark outside. Just got home from my run. The weather here is very unusual for this time of year. It’s a warm 46F / 7 C light rain. No White Christmas this year.

Temperature is 7C or 43F. wow . what change we are experiencing in the weather. I expect a green Christmas.It may be a first for my area of the world.

yesterday was Solstice. The shortest "daylight" day of the year.
I have done some running since my last post. It's time to  blog.
 Biked and did a late afternoon run.  Cooked a very good  Shepherds Pie for supper.   Will freeze the leftovers .  i have signed up for Janathon.
