Yoga class at Lululemon. A very good class led by Brendine  from SAMATVA Yoga. . Biked to store and back. 
Day off from running. 

Time to watch TV, read and I should tidy up my apt.

Long May Weekend

Update. I have completed 2 runs in 2015
 The Toronto  Harry Rosen 8K and the Montreal Scotia Bank 5K.
 Happy with my results.

Presently figuring out what is next,
Not sure whether to sign up for Juneathon.
 Late afternoon, did a 5K+ slow run.

Monday May 11

 Yesterday I celebrated my 67 birthday. Quietly. Nice day. I had planned to have supper at a Pizza place -  Woodenheads , this did not work out as it was Mothers Day as well as my Birthday. 
Hoping to have rain check and go later on this week. 

I ran 2 runs in May. The Harry Rosen in Toronto and the Scotia Ban 5k in Montreal. My Plan is to train and run the Army in Ottawa (September20), and probably the Longboat (September13) In Toronto. Both runs are in September.
There is also the Toronto Womens 8K in October 
the Zoo run is September 12 and the Scotia bank Toronto 5k on October18. 

Not sure of the distance.  I am also considering doing the Beaches run in August.  It a training run and this might be a good venture for me. These are ideas and  not commitments. 


I have a long list of other things I need to do. Thinking of changing my training. 

Trying one Yoga class a week and doing a swim once a week. 

Then again, I could decide to stop running and focus on being a cyclist and hiker.

Warm Weather at last

Time to get back to blogging . .
I ran in Montreal 2 weeks ago and decided to take a 2-week rest from running and fitness.
today was the nicest day we have had since last summer. It was 15C and sunny.
I went to Yoga at Artillery Park and a 5k run in my area of the city.
